How to have “The Girlfriend Experience” Phone Sex
One of my favorite calls to get are those of “The Girlfriend Experience” variety. Sometimes callers ask me, “What exactly is The Girlfriend Experience?” Here’s a guide for those of you who are curious.
Like phone sex itself, there is no right way to have GFE phone sex. And to all the haters out there who think seeking a phone girlfriend is somehow a less admirable pursuit than a “real” girlfriend — have you ever tried “real” dating? Dating can be hard, frustrating, and disappointing. Don’t even get me started on the stresses and unpredictable emotional roller coaster that is being in a relationship. GFE phone sex pretty much short circuits all the hard, shitty parts of girlfriend/boyfriend life and leaves only the fun, mutually fulfilling parts. Personally, I believe you don’t have to have an in-person fight about leaving wet towels on the bed with someone to have genuine, meaningful emotional intimacy with them!
I think about why GFE phone sex can be so satisfying. Therapeutic even a lot, possibly because my best friend lives across the country. When I call them to complain to them about daily life stuff. They’re automatically on my side — not just ’cause we’re best friends, but because they aren’t there . . . so pretty much whatever I say is the gospel truth. They’re kind of like a non-invested third party. Or, a third party that’s just invested in caring about me. GFE phone sex is kind of like that: you can be more honest with me. Talk to me about things you can’t with the people in your “real” life, people you have to see every day. And I’m going to listen. And I’m going to genuinely care, and genuinely hear you . . . because that’s what a loving girlfriend does.
Oh, and the “sex” part of the girlfriend experience?
Think about it this way — how is sex you have with some random person you just met and will probably never see again different from sex with a regular figure in your life? Sex with someone you can count on to be there? I love getting to know someone over a period of time. What turns them on, what makes them cum really, REALLY hard, letting them get to know me and what I like and even maybe discovering new things together. One-night stands are hot and everything. I think gradually developed sexual intimacy with someone who you’re attracted to on multiple levels might be even hotter . . . just maybe.
